Meet “Prathi” Mudalapuram, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Prathi’s vibrant energy and compassionate approach create meaningful connections with her patients.
Originally from India, she now proudly calls North Carolina home. Growing up in a family of doctors—both her brother and sister are surgeons—she learned early on the profound impact of compassionate care.
Dr. Prathibha Mudalapuram has been a dedicated dentist since 2008, earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India. She furthered her education with a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2013 and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California in 2019. Currently, she practices at Cary Dental Arts.
With over a decade of diverse clinical and research experience, Dr. Prathi has worked in community clinics, hospitals, and private practices. Her expertise in complex implant surgeries has earned her recognition from the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). She is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and actively participates in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Indian Endodontic Society, the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), and the Spear Dental Study Club.
As an internationally trained specialist in Endodontics, Dr. Prathi seamlessly integrates her expertise in dental implants with general dentistry. She offers a comprehensive range of services, including root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign® clear aligners, and laser dentistry, all tailored to meet her patients’ unique needs.
Believing that dentistry is both an art and a science, Dr. Prathi is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. Her goal is to empower patients with knowledge about their oral health while providing personalized and effective treatment plans.
In her free time, Dr. Prathi cherishes moments spent with family and friends. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes and exploring different cultures with her two children, turning everyday experiences into opportunities for learning and joy.
